In the first half of 2025, the size of the e-commerce system in Turkey exceeded 2 trillion TL, according to data from the Electronic Commerce Operators Association (ETİD). Studies indicate that the figure is expected to rise to 5 trillion TL with the start of the school year, Black Friday deals, and special days such as New Year's. Home textiles, children's products, dietary supplements, electronics, and cosmetics are among the best-selling categories. On the other hand, in order to start e-commerce, in addition to the supply of products to be sold, expenses of up to 2 million TL are required, ranging from company establishment to agreements with money transfer companies, marketplace management, and social media promotions. Mağazanolsun, founded by Tekkart, has launched a ‘Stockless E-commerce’ system for those who would like to start e-commerce. Mağazanolsun, which has been touring Anatolian provinces and filling halls, recently presented its system in Trabzon. We at HardwareLab attended the event, which was attended by 500 people. Trabzon students, graduates, housewives, retirees, and those involved in trade took action to add Trabzon's geographically marked products, such as hazelnuts, tea, knives, butter, and cheese, to the e-commerce system by joining the system while the Mağazanolsun event was still ongoing.

Approximately 400 individuals and organizations in our country are involved in e-commerce. Post-pandemic, shopping habits through e-commerce continue to grow due to discounts, campaigns, and product diversity. Alongside major local companies like Hepsiburada, Trendyol, and Pazarama, large foreign companies such as Amazon, Alibaba, and Temu have also made significant investments in e-commerce in Turkey.
For a manufacturer or prospective seller to engage in e-commerce with a product, they need to make an initial investment of approximately 2 million TL in dozens of areas, from marketplace management to content preparation, shipping and return processes to review management, inventory tracking to company setup. This does not include the amount to be spent on the product to be sold.

500 people asked questions about e-commerce
At this point, only 3 out of 100 people who enter e-commerce are successful. Due to the intense competitive environment created by large companies on the one hand and the high number of people who would like to enter e-commerce due to economic conditions on the other, a new system was introduced. In 2020, Mağazanolsun was launched with the concept of Stockless E-Commerce. At the invitation of its founder, Kubilay Çil, we attended the event held at Trabzon University's Mahmut Goloğlu Cultural Center to listen to the presentation by Mağazanolsun Co-Founder and Deputy General Manager of Marketing, Ali Işık. At the event, which took place on September 13 with the participation of approximately 500 people, Ali Işık provided important information.

Social media has become the largest shopping mall
Işık stated that Mağazanolsun covers all the costs required to start e-commerce and that dozens of products from the Black Sea region, such as tea, hazelnuts, knives, cheese, and butter, which have received geographical indication status, can be delivered to a wide audience by sellers with stores on Mağazanolsun. Ali Işık also noted that everyone in Turkey spends 8 hours online, adding that marketing efforts here can enable product sales through Mağazanolsun's e-commerce system.

Intense interest from Anatolia
Kubilay Çil stated that they received intense interest in Trabzon and that there is a great desire for e-commerce in every province they visit, adding, "There is significant awareness in society regarding stockless e-commerce. Mağazanolsun's primary goal is to make the Turkish economy more vibrant and larger through e-commerce. On the other hand, it is to make everyone an e-commerce expert with small investments. We are working towards this goal, and the public's interest in our presentations shows that we are on the right track." Çil noted that Mağazanolsun will also make new strides in the field of e-commerce and e-export in the coming period. Kubilay Çil stated that they have visited cities such as Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Gaziantep, Çorum, and Kayseri to date and have provided training similar to that of an e-commerce university. “We believe that with the efforts and determination of every individual who enters e-commerce, the Turkish economy will grow even more with the contributions of our Ministry of Trade,” he said.

The opportunity for additional income was found attractive
Participants said they found Mağazanolsun's stockless e-commerce system reasonable.
-I am a university student; I don't know if I will be able to find a job in my field of engineering when I graduate. Right now, e-commerce seems more reasonable to me. This way, I think I can find an opportunity to market the natural butter my family produces in Trabzon to Turkey and eventually the world.
-I'm retired and need extra income. The idea of selling and earning money through social media posts from home is quite appealing. I learned that retirees contribute to their household income this way and even buy themselves cars. I thought I could do this too.
– I have a small child. As a mother, while taking care of him, I was also looking for ways to earn money for his needs. From this perspective, Mağazanolsun seems like it will give me a great opportunity. After examining the system a little more closely, I want to start working in the baby products field soon.
