Mağazanolsun announced its 2024 financial results
TekKart Bilişim Hizmetleri A.Ş., established in e-commerce to connect local brands' products with more buyers in Turkey and abroad, has announced its 2024 financial data for its new generation e-commerce site, Mağazanolsun. Mağazanolsun, which enables individuals who have never managed an e-commerce site before to start selling with e-commerce stores that are ready to set up within 24 hours and have a simple management system, recorded significant growth in 2024. The brand announced that it increased its annual turnover by 333 per cent in 2024.
OPPORTUNITY TO GENERATE REVENUE WITHIN 2 MONTHS
Kubilay Çil, Co-Founder of Mağazanolsun, stated that the system they launched five years ago aims to offer an important opportunity to entrepreneurs who would like to join the e-commerce ecosystem but do not know what product to sell or how to manage a marketplace. "Mağazanolsun, the company I founded and serve as CEO of, continues its activities at Yıldız Technical University YTU Teknokent. We are working so that brands that manufacture their own products, employees, housewives, retirees, and anyone who would like to earn income by selling can benefit from the intense interest in e-commerce. Compared to 2023, entrepreneurs who opened stores in 2024 achieved faster growth thanks to the knowledge base and successful examples gained, and managed to reduce the time it took to generate income from their stores from 6 months to 2 months."
PLANNING TO WORK WITH GLOBAL GIANTS
Kubilay Çil, who stated that Mağazanolsun has brought a new colour and movement to the Turkish e-commerce ecosystem, listed the brand's 2025 goals as follows:
"In 2025, we will work to increase our number of stores from 3,000 to over 5,000 and our number of customers from 150,000 to 300,000, so that e-commerce, seen as the new business model of the new era, can provide regular income to more people in Turkey. Not only in Turkey, but also in other countries, we plan to take our e-commerce model, which includes everything needed, to Europe and America after the UK, where we are present with the Fornium brand. On the other hand, we will sign another very important development. We aim to include other options from abroad in our integrations in Turkey."
NUMBER OF STORES RISES TO 3,000
Mağazanolsun, which is preparing to close 2024 with over 150,000 customers, has also seen an increase in the number of sellers. In 2024, Mağazanolsun, which offers employees, housewives and retirees the opportunity to earn up to 40% of the revenue from the products they sell, has introduced 400 new entrepreneurs to e-commerce, bringing the number of active stores to 3,000.
FOOD SUPPLEMENTS AND LOCAL PRODUCTS IN THE SPOTLIGHT
Mağazanolsun has also seen significant increases in the number of products in dozens of different categories, such as ‘food supplements, cosmetics, cleaning products, organic food, local products, jewellery and accessories, and clothing and fashion’. The number of products sold, which was 40,000 in 2023, rose to 200,000 in 2024, achieving an increase of over 500% in this area. Sellers with stores on Mağazanolsun made sales to all 81 cities in Turkey, with the top three cities for sales in 2024 being major cities such as Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir. These cities were followed by Manisa, Van, Ordu, Samsun, Kütahya and Gaziantep.
ENTERED THE UK MARKET
Mağazanolsun, which also expanded abroad in 2024, invested in the UK as part of its target market strategy. By launching its e-commerce brand under the name Fornium.uk, Mağazanolsun made a significant investment in the UK market, which will generate sterling earnings for Turkish brands.
